Polynesian Linemen

According to a graphic on besttickets.com, as of 2014 the NFL is 68% black and 28% white. The third most common race is not Hispanic but rather Pacific Islander or Polynesian, standing at 1.6%, even though many more Hispanics play football in High School than Polynesians.

Most Polynesians play positions which receive less attention, namely on the interior of the Defensive and Offensive Line. There are exceptions, such as former Saftey Troy Polamalu, Linebackers Lofa Tatutpu and Rey Maualuga, and of course quarterback Marcus Mariota. Regardless, of the 2012 players there were enough Polynesian Interior Linemen (16) to make a morph.
