Quarterbacks

Thirty two starting quarterbacks from each pro team were combined into the first morphs shown. Twenty four white starters were used for 2012 and 2006, and six black starters were used for 2012 and 2006. (Each year had two quarterbacks classified as neither.) For teams which had multiple quarterbacks start, the player with the most games or recorded the most passing stats was selected.

Eight out of 24 (or one third) of starting white quarterbacks from 2009 to 2012 are the same: Tony Romo, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, Carson Palmer, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Eli Manning.

Six black quarterbacks started in 2006 and 2012. The only one who was a starter for each year is Michael Vick. For 2012 six black backups and six starters were used. For 2006 only six starters were used.
