2012 Average by Position

These are morphs of 32 starters from almost each of these pro football positions.

A few positions require explanation:
Guard: the best guard from each team was taken, regardless of whether he was a LG or RG.
Wide Receiver: The best wide receiver was taken from each team, as defined by most yards, catches, or touchdowns.
Fullback was left out.

Defense was more complicated because some teams run a 3-4 scheme while others run a 4-3 scheme. Here's how this was handled.
This morph cycles through the faces in the chart above from left to right.

NT/DT 1: 3-4 NT or larger 4-3 DT.
DT2: 3-4 larger DE or 4-3 smaller DT.
DT/DE3: 3-4 smaller DE or 4-3 larger DE.
DE/LB4: 3-4 larger OLB or 4-3 smaller DE.
LB5: 3-4 smaller OLB or 4-3 strong side OLB.
LB6 3-4 weak ILB or 4-3 weak OLB.
LB7 3-4 strong ILB 4-3 ILB.
SS: Strong Safety
FS: Free Safety
CB: Corner Back: The best CB from each team was taken, as defined by most interceptions, games started, or tackles.
